Hapkido uses a variety of surfaces on the hand
and forearm as striking weapons:
Finger tips, finger knuckles, punch, palm, the
back of the hand, bottom edge of the hand, the top edge of the
hand, wrist joint, and elbow.
There is also a great variety of delivery
methods depending on the opponent distance and situation.
There are no limits, all effective methods are employed.
World Koong Joong students learn techniques
such as finger striking to the eyes and throat, boxing style
punching as well as the traditional style of punch (kwon)
and chop (sudo).
